Hawaii Alumnae Panhellenic Spring Luncheon

"Kentucky Derby Day"

Annual Scholarship Luncheon, Silent Auction, & Parade of Hats.  A call to the starting gate in celebration of the Kentucky Derby!  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oahu Country Club.  Featured Speaker is Cindy Luis Wells, Sportswriter - Honolulu Star Bulletin.  10 a.m. Silent Auction Bidding Opens.  Checks preferred.  12:00 p.m. Auction Bidding Closes and Lunch begins.  Attire:  Aloha attire (no rubber slippers) and a HAT!  Any hat will do... be as creative, humorous, or traditional as you wish!  Panhellenic will also be holding a pet food/supply drive for the Hawaiian Humane Society Foster Program.  Please bring kitten or puppy food, shallow bowls or food trays, old towels, clumping cat litter, litter boxes, and such for the collection barrel.  Cost is $25/No Host Cocktails.  Please contact Leah Davis Rowland at (808) 732-0777.

University of Hawaii Graduation

The University of Hawaii at Manoa Commencement Exercises will be held at 9 a.m. in the Stan Sheriff Center.  Congratulations to graduate Sandy Degala!

Honolulu Academy of Arts

The Honolulu Academy of Arts will be holding a member reception for Hawaiian artists from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  Anyone who would like to help serve refreshments at the event please contact Vicki Millard at vmillard@hawaii.rr.com  Volunteers will need to arrive at 5:45 p.m.  Aloha attire.  Comfortable shoes recommended.

Contemporary Museum Artspree

The Alpha Gams will be helping the Contemporary Museum with its annual Open House, "Artspree."  Always lots of fun!  There are four areas of assistance needed this year:  Managing the volunteer area (refreshments), Museum Entry at the Lanai Desk (greeting visitors, answering questions, head counting), King Kalakaua Plaza in Waikiki next to Niketown (overseeing dance and other entertainment here), Assisting demo artist with Printmaking, and Assisting demo artist, Suzanne Marinelli, making Vine Baskets.  Several shifts available.  On the preceding Thursday 7/10 and Friday 7/11, there will be food preparation for the volunteer and performer lunches.  They will be making several salads.  You will need to bring your own cutting board, knife, large mixing bowls, and large baking pans.  Lunch/refreshments provided for volunteers.  For more information or to volunteer contact Vicki Millard at vmillard@hawaii.rr.com

Delta Zeta Christmas Auction

Delta Sigma Alpha Gam Dollar Auction / Christmas Party
